BIOEAST map of agroecological initiatives is available

The map has been made by the Agroecology Thematic Working Group (TWG) of the BIOEAST Initiative which aims to mobilise member Ministries and research institutions from eleven Central Eastern European and Baltic countries (Slovakia, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia) to cooperate and work towards agroecological system development.

The map is based on a questionnaire and consultations with the stakeholders involved and aims to identify and give visibility to already existing agroecological initiatives in the BIOEAST partner countries. This interactive map is serve as a platform to discover agroecological living labs and similar initiatives/projects in order to improve organised macro-regional cooperation for international project and proposal development.
So far, the map shows initiatives in five countries. However, the map will be continuously updated with new initiatives in the BIOEAST countries.
If you are involved in or coordinate an agroecology focused living lab or research infrastructure or equivalent partnership and would like to have it visible, please fill in the survey or contact the agroecology TWG coordination: valeria.csonka@biokutatas.hu
