BLOOM will address three aspects related to the transition to a European bioeconomy: awareness raising, education/ training and stakeholder network extension.
This includes the identification and evaluation of best practice examples of communication strategies of different target audiences and their implementation through five regional hubs
whose activities also include the identification of barriers and drivers. BLOOM will deliver a description of the awareness problem of the potential of bioeconomy and the bioeconomy concepts and will arrive to a targeted approach for the communication in the five regional hubs and for the teaching activities to be developed by the European
The communication framework will be formed on best practice examples of communication strategies of different target audiences and includes the identification of barriers and drivers for its implementation. Together with the bioeconomy mapping report (D1.1), which provides an overview of EU Bioeconomy research and innovation, the bioeconomy in its full breadth, including the definitions, the technological concepts and the concepts of transition, the products and the key messages, but also the dilemma’s.
