Short description:

The DataM data management tool was complemented by
– 115 data bases (mainly from Eurostat) about European biomass flows and European bioeconomy activity sectors which were compiled and structured into 15 datasets;
– two new data sets: “DataM – Biomass Estimates” and “DataM – Bioeconomics”;
– fine-tuning three bioeconomy sub-topics (biomass, forestry and fisheries) in cooperation with a contractor;
– ten tailor-made reports depicting biomass production and trade. Aim
Access to the data underlying the scientific production of the European Commission and partners about the economics aspects of agriculture, bioeconomy, climate change, food and nutrition security and related sustainability.
Data of this portal consists mainly in models’ outcomes and estimates. These can be outlooks about future scenarios as well as calculations concerning the past to overcome the lack of official statistical data.
Data is presented in terms of raw datasets ready to download, and as interactive dashboards or infographics for the self-analysis of data.
Data of this site may be subject to improvements, correction, updates. Users that download data are recommended to subscribe to the newsletter from the home page of the site, in order to be informed about all data changes.
