This deliverable describes the process adopted to collect the material to be used to develop the educational tools under Task 3.4. The procedure has been organized in the following way: • Target groups: this section describes the target groups of users that have been chosen and addressed for the collection of the material to be further developed into the educational tools • Contents and source of material: this part refers to the topics and issues related to bio-based products and the bioeconomy for which material has been collected • Educational tools: this section briefly outlines the tools that have been planned and will developed under T 3.4 by using the material collected under T 3.3.
This deliverable reports on the changes and refinements made in the contents of the training material prepared during the first year (D3.3) and used to improve and develop new training tools (D 3.7) also in collaboration with other projects or institutions working in the bioeconomy sector. Among the different training tools developed in D3.4 at M14, i.e. interactive games, educational videos, educational multimedia presentations, fact sheets and posters, main updates have been made for the multimedia presentations to better address the comments and questions made both by the students during pilot seminars, and by citizens during Barcamps, Thematic Charretes and Thematic Workshops. Also changes in some statistical data according to more updated reports, and improvements which take into account available information on revisions in relation to the progress of the Bioeconomy Strategy and Action Plan have been made. In addition, a new game has been prepared and developed as a response to the need to communicate in an engaging way through a serious game the revisions recently made to the bioeconomy strategy. Finally, bio-art panels displaying both images of raw materials and derived bio-based products and fact sheets presenting the rationale and major information beyond each product or related biotechnological process have been prepared.
