BOOST4BIOEAST has established synergies with BIONETS and EUBIONET

The BOOST4BIOEAST project is pleased to announce that it has started to collaborate with the BBioNets and the EuBioNet as a member to identify common synergies and goals, aiming at advancing and strengthening bioeconomy practices in Europe.
We believe that knowledge sharing and cross fertilization of ideas are at the core of the transition towards bioeconomy, and for this reason it is fundamental to establish connections with other relevant initiatives that support circularity and sustainability.
Boosting the adoption of Bio-Based Technologies (BBioNets) is a thematic network that relies on, promotes and further advances the work carried out by EIP-AGRI Operational Groups (OGs) with respect to the management and processing of agricultural and forest biomass with Biobased Technologies (BBTs). Its objective is to incite primary producers all over Europe to embrace and adopt BBTs that will enable them to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, make better use of underutilised biomass, create new diversified incomes, reduce costs through circular practices, increase farm and forest sustainable management, and develop new value chains.

European Bioeconomy Network (EuBioNet) is a proactive alliance of 160 EU funded projects and initiatives dealing with Bioeconomy promotion, communication and support. The main goal is to maximise the efforts, increasing the knowledge sharing, networking, mutual learning, coordination of joint activities and events. The European Bioeconomy Network works in close collaboration with the European Commission and Circular Bio-Based Europe Joint U, to ensure that the objectives identified by the Bioeconomy Strategy 2018 will be properly communicated, addressed and implemented.
