On Friday, June 7, 2024, a meeting of the HUB for bioeconomy took place in the House of Europe, jointly organized by the Energy Institute Hrvoje Požar, WWF Adria and the Croatian Chamber of Agriculture as Croatian partners in the BOOST4BIOEAST and CEE2ACT projects.
The goal of both projects is to strengthen the cooperation of stakeholders in the bioeconomy system on the creation and implementation of bioeconomy plans in Croatia, following the adoption of the Bioeconomy Strategy, the creation of which was led by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
At this meeting, the previous activities of both projects and the e-tools developed within the framework of CEE2ACT were presented. Further needs of stakeholders in the bioeconomy system and possible activities to strengthen these needs were discussed.
As part of the event, a presentation related to the HORIZON and CBE JU programs was held—new opportunities for financing projects in the field of bioeconomy.
