Registration is open for the BIOEAST High-LeveL Conference!
The BIOEAST High-Level Conference is set to take place on 25 November at the Committee of Regions in Brussels, Belgium that will bring the BOOST4BIOEAST project to a closure. The conference aims to provide a high-level political and policy platform to reflect on the achievements of the BIOEAST Initiative, its support project, BOOST4BIOEAST, and to shape the next phase of cooperation for a competitive, sustainable and resilient bioeconomy across Central and Eastern Europe and the wider BIOEAST region, including Ukraine, Moldova and the Western Balkan countries.
Building on a decade of BIOEAST cooperation, the conference will bring together high-level representatives of the BIOEAST countries, the European Commission and other European institutions, together with key regional stakeholders.
What’s in store at the BIOEAST Conference?
- Taking stock of BIOEAST achievement through the lens of the BOOST4BIOEAST project from national bioeconomy implementation, action planning, and designing macro-regional research and innovation priorities for competitiveness.
- Widening the BIOEAST Macro-region’s reach through the introduction of the new BIOEASTWIDE project which aims to accelerate building cooperation with Ukraine, Moldova and the Western Balkans.
- Reflecting and putting into perspective the future of the European bioeconomy and the role of the wider BIOEAST region by representatives of European institutions.
