Greenovate! Europe invites you to the conference “Innovation in the bioeconomy: overcoming barriers for sustainable bio-based products and biofuels” on 12th April 2018 at the Hotel Marriott Renaissance, in Brussels.
Sustainable biomass that does not compete with food can be used in a wide variety of applications, including heating, transport fuel, or bio-based products. In our event we analyse the regulatory framework and the market barriers that impact the widespread uptake of products derived from sustainable biomass.
The event will also present the results of the 3-year research ButaNexT project, which made the process to produce bio-butanol cheaper and less energy-consuming. Bio-butanol can be used as a biofuel or to make bio-based products.
Join our event to discuss how to improve the regulatory and market framework for the future bio-based solutions!
The poster session will host several EU funded research projects in the field of the bioeconomy and biofuels, and will give you the opportunity to find out what is at the forefront of European innovation.
