An international conference „Bioeconomy Policy, Actors, and Transformations: Achievements, Challenges, and Recommendations”, hosted by the Agricultural and Food Policy Group is taking place at Humboldt-Universität Berlin between 22-23 February 2023.
The conference marks the completion of the research project PolDeRBio (Policy Designs for Resilient Bioeconomies), which has been funded by the German Federal Ministry of Research and Education under the program “Bioeconomy as societal change”. It aims to provide an interactive space for researchers, policy experts and representatives of public administration, private sector and civil society organizations to discuss research results, ideas, experiences and ways forward in the area of bioeconomy policy. The conference will consist of different formats, including paper presentations, roundtables and interactive workshop formats. The conference will be a unique opportunity for bioeconomy scholars and experts to share their insights and perspectives. Presentations and other contributions are welcome that cover a wide range of critical questions in the field of bioeconomy governance and policy. The deadline for submitting presentation abstracts and further contribution ideas is 25 November 2022.
