First meeting of the “Policy Science Dialogue on Food Systems” series – Transitioning Food Systems in the BIOEAST Region

The first meeting of the Policy Science Dialogue on Food Systems series, titled “Transitioning Food Systems in the BIOEAST Region”, will take place online on 25 April 2025 from 10:00 to 11:30 CET.

Organized by the BOOST4BIOEAST Food Systems Thematic Working Group, the event aims to initiate a macro-regional exchange between science and policy on the transformation of food systems in the BIOEAST region.

The meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss key challenges, policy gaps, as well as enablers and barriers to the effective uptake of scientific evidence in policymaking. Insights gathered will contribute to the development of an issue paper supporting national bioeconomy strategies.
