COASTAL Biogas final conference – anaerobic digestion of cast seaweed, 9 December 2021
The COASTAL Biogas project has received funding from the European Regional Development Fund through the Interreg South Baltic Programme. Its objective is to provide solutions based on anaerobic digestion of cast seaweed to coastal regions to tackle eutrophication, contribute to the transition to a circular bio-economy and improve prosperity.
COASTAL Biogas revolves around anaerobic digestion of cast seaweed as means to reduce eutrophication and GHG emissions, eliminate the inconveniences with rotten seaweed on the beaches, create local and resilient value chains, produce an organic fertiliser and biogas.
During the final conference on the 9th of December 2021 the main results and outcomes will be presented. The online conference and the virtual study tour are free of charge but limited to 100 participants.
