IV INTERNATIONAL GREEN BIOTECHNOLOGY CONGRESS – Biotechnology for agricultural sustainability in the era of climate change
The Agricultural Academy, under the patronage of the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food in Bulgaria is organising the IV International Green Biotechnology Congress – “Biotechnology for agricultural sustainability in the era of climate change”.
The event will take place in Sofia, Bulgaria on 7-8 November, 2024. The Congress will touch upon the prospects of green technologies for the development of sustainable climate-resilient agriculture. The program will focus on the following thematic areas:
- Plant genomics, proteomics and metabolomics;
- Precision plant breeding – marker – assisted selection, genome editing techniques, plant phenomics;
- Plant cell and tissue culture;
- Beneficial soil microbiomes, phytoremediation, biotechnological tools for managing soil fertility, plant growth and plant health;
- Circular bioeconomy
