Description
The Slovenian Bioeconomy Hub, an initiative supported by three European projects (BOOST4BIOEAST, CEE2ACT, and BIOLOC) and led by Circular Change, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, Anteja ECG, and the National Chamber of Economy, is dedicated to coordinating and supporting bioeconomy stakeholders across sectors, including businesses, research centers, educational institutions, and public administrations. Serving as a central point of the BIOEAST framework, the hub drives the implementation of BOOST4BIOEAST activities and thematic working groups, contributing to the long-term BIOEAST strategy.
The hub offers access to knowledge, international best practices, matchmaking events, and supports innovative circular biobased projects. It also fosters youth engagement through programs like Summer Schools and Hackathons, ensuring young minds are informed and actively involved in sustainable development. The hub enables international collaboration with other BIOEAST hubs in Central Eastern Europe and leading European organizations, such as the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform.
In addition, the hub hosts two annual events, bringing together stakeholders for discussions, expert talks, and networking opportunities with leading organizations in the sector.
