The third edition of the International Conference for Young Scientists on Biorefinery Technologies and Products BTechPro2026 is held in Sigulda (Latvia) on May 6-8, 2026.
Students and postdocs working in the field of bioeconomy are invited to present their research, give and get feedback, take part in workshops and insightful discussions, as well as creative networking activities.
Supervisors, senior researchers, and industry representatives are welcome to attend without a presentation and contribute to the discussions for a bio-based future!
Everyone gets to speak at BTechPro! Only oral presentations will be organised throughout Scientific Session dedicated to:
- Biomass feedstock pre-treatment
- Biomass processing and extraction
- Wood- and other biomass-based materials
- Bioengineering technologies
- Synthesis of bio-based chemicals and polymers
- Characterisation of biorefinery products
- Bioeconomy and environmental aspects

- Deadline for short abstracts has been extended to January 28, 2026
- The conference event will start at the Latvian State Institute of Wood Chemistry on May 6, and continue at a conference venue in the scenic Sigulda on May 7-8, 2026
