Based on a Vision 2030 11 countries without bioeconomy strategies and/or action plans are working on policy level developments. The BIOEAST can help you build up policy and action plan, with the support of the H2020 BIOEASTsUP project.
Academia
The sustainable transformation and circular bioeconomy cannot be achieved without research and innovation. We have to build a Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda for the macro-region. If you wish to join the thematic working groups contact the BIOEAST NCPs.
Business
To achieve sustainable and competitive production and processing of the available biomass there is a need to rethink the traditional business models. The concept of sustainable biorefineries offers a systems approach. Regional and national clustering is necessary.
