The 15th Bled Strategic Forum international conference took place on 31 August 2020 in Bled, Slovenia. This year the one-day event ran under the title “Challenges and Opportunities in the Post-COVID–19 World; Neighbours – Regions – Global World: Partners or Rivals?” The conference was organised as a hybrid event, with a high-level segment taking place on-site while some discussions were held online. Secretary General of the BIOEAST Initiative, Barna Kovács was invited to the Plenary section which gave an insight into the EU green & circular recovery. Mr. Kovács presented in a short overwiev the sustainable road ahead for CCE countries and the efforts made so far in the Member States towards a sustainable bioeconomy.
