BIOEAST Initiative also debuted in ESOF2020 Trieste

It is a great honor that the BIOEAST initiative was also able to present itself at the five days EuroScience Open Forum. In the section of Systems ’integrators for a Sustainable Circular Bioeconomy, Barna Kovács Secretary General of the BIOEAST Initiative spoke about the steps taken by the BIOEAST countries to make progress in sustainable bioeconomy. He highlighted that researchers have a huge role to play in creating local added value for biomass.

The EuroScience Open Forum (ESOF) is a biennial, pan-European, general science conference dedicated to scientific research and innovation. Each conference aims to deliver stimulating content and lively debate around the latest advancements and discoveries in the sciences, humanities and social sciences.

SOF brings together over 4,500 leading thinkers, innovators, policy makers, journalists and educators from more than 90 countries, to discuss current and future breakthroughs in contemporary science.
